How it all started
Rach received a formal diagnosis of ADHD Combined Type from the NHS in January 2020 after a process lasting one year and six months. Unfortunately, her post-diagnosis appointments with the psychiatrist were cancelled due to the UK’s lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rach turned to Twitter to find community and launched an informal and honest substack newsletter ‘Adulting ADHD’ to share her journey of navigating adulthood with ADHD and to offer support to others who felt alone and misunderstood.
